Stop 1
8:00 a.m. at 162 Arrowhead Rd, Inman, KS
View Fall 2023 calves

Depart 8:45 am
Head West 1.5 miles to 31st Rd/Plum Ave
Turn Right. Drive North for 1 Mile
Turn Left. Drive West on Ave V 1 mile

Stop 2 3010 Ave V, Inman, KS
View cows bred for later October/November
Short discussion of range management and pasture rehab

Depart approx 10:00 am
Drive West 15 miles to Sterling, KS
Turn Right onto Broadway
(There will be a Casey's convenience store on your left a few blocks north of Broadway. This is a handy stop for a quick donut, coffee, or restroom)

Proceed North and turn left to merge onto K-96/14 N
Drive North 28 miles to Ave Q
Turn Left 1.5 miles

Stop 3, approx 11:00 a.m.: View Spring pairs on the North Side of the Road and Bred Heifers on the South side
Watch Border Collies work and discuss training

Leave pastures at approximately 12:15 p.m.

Return East on Ave. Q to KS-14
Turn Left and travel North on KS-14 to Ellsworth
Turn Left on South Main and arrive at Hodgen House Museum Complex for lunch. Ellsworth Co-op has sponsored the meeting room and Reiff Ag/Ryan & Jennifer Reiff, Buhler, KS has helped sponsor the meat for lunch.
During lunch, we will talk briefly about our carcass data results

Following lunch, we can head to an optional stop to view early October calving cows. Directions available on tour day for those who wish to make this stop.
